I recently did a shoot with a client and his family, and was presented with a real challenge. Sam Peregoy, my client, had forwarned me it would be a difficult shoot, and advised his father did NOT like his picture taken…AT ALL! Sam was worried whether his Dad would even show up for the shoot. I reassured Sam we should be able to get some good shots of him and his family, and not to worry.
With as much patience as one can have, and much persistence, constantly saying “DAD (Rick) look up, look at me, smile, think of happy thoughts” we did get the shoot done!!!! Unfortunately Rick would very seldom look up, let alone smile, but as the shoot progressed and time went by, he began to loosen up. I am very pleased with the outcome of the shoot and their are many great shots we did get. Sam was especially pleased with the pictures of his parents.
What do you think?
